Mr. President, you have been quick to condemn violence employed by foreign states against peaceful protesters during the Arab Spring, yet you remain silent when it happens in your own back yard.
Not a word has been spoken about those who have been wrongfully imprisoned for exercising their right to free speech, not a finger lifted when our veterans lay bloody and beaten in the streets, not a single action taken to prevent the destruction of our civil liberties by a police force who only employs brutality.
We the people have taken to the streets, now you must make a choice: remain silent, or speak.
