In late July 2015 Turkish military forces began a campaign against Kurdish populations in the south and west of Turkey. Peace protests and movements have been met with violence and arrests under the claim of terrorism.
The Turkish government is fighting the repressed ally of the United States which has been on the front line against ISIS the greatest evil of the modern day. We cannot allow such a dishonor and insult to continue against these people.
While the Turkish government is devolving into an authoritarian and even despotic rule the people of stateless Kurdistan are rapidly becoming democratic, peaceful, capitalist, and very liberal politically.
The United States should look to work with the Kurds as they are being repressed in the countries they live in and they strive for peace
