The law enforcement profession is, by nature, dangerous. That is why police officers are highly paid and receive fantastic benefits. LAPD officers fired on, and struck, two innocent women delivering newspapers because they failed to properly identify the driver and passenger of a pick-up truck. This is unacceptable. The officers in question need to be arrested for attempted murder, and the LAPD needs to be investigated for incompetence at the senior management level.
