Recently, as well as in the past, many tragedies have occurred that involve the abuse of the rights to bear arms. One of the most recent being the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in which 20 young children and 6 adult staff members were murdered in a crazed shooting. With incidences such as this occurring more and more frequently, it is important for people to begin to become educated about the dangers of gun violence from a young age.
This petition will mandate elementary, middle, and high schools all across the nation to conduct Gun Safety seminars in order to educate students on the dangers of gun violence and the pros and cons of the right to bear arms laws.
