Countries around the world are placing restrictions on, or banning GMOs altogether. The fact of the matter is that there simply is not enough fact based research regarding the long term effects of genetically manipulating the genes of crops.
I've seen both sides of the spectrum. Some sources say that there is nothing wrong with foods that come from genetically modified crops, and that their actually better for you than traditional crops. And then I've seen other sources which give stunning evidence showing that genetically modified foods can carry serious health concerns.
I come to you asking that you require the FDA to provide the public with more stringent research that takes into account the studies that other countries have done. And that you take action when the truth comes out.
