An comprehensive audit of gold stored at Fort Knox has not been conducted in over 60 years. No civilian has been allowed to view this gold since the early 1970's. In a time of economic uncertainty and rising gold prices it seems prudent to have a public audit of gold holdings that belong to the American people.
