conduct a public, transparent, and televised audit of the United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox.

Created by J.R. on June 22, 2014

The United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox, KY has not conducted a public audit in over SIX decades. 1953 was the last year the American people were allowed to audit the vaults at Fort Knox. Mr. President, we're calling you out! Open the vaults, televise an audit of the contents of Fort Knox. We petitioners understand that the extreme security measures would have to be protected and respected. We petitioners do not want to see how to access vaults and we are not interested in the security measures put in place at Fort Knox. We are solely interested in the contents of the United States Bullion Depository. So Mr. President, what do you say? What of your transparent, particapatory, and collaborative government? Are you still committed to "an unprecedented level of openness"?
