President Obama had put forth in 2010 the HIV/AIDS Strategic Initiative to help discrimination towards individuals inflected with this disease.
The Housing and Urban Development Agency (HUD), administers the grant, Housing Opportunities for Persons with HIV/AIDS (HOPWA) - disbursed through a local grantee.
Recently, HUD had allowed the Fort Lauderdale grantee to "rewrite federal revenue code" and had purposefully denied an individual with HIV/AIDS access to this program.
The grantee, in collaboration with the Broward Regional Health Planning Council, have decided that "receiving a loan from a relative 2x within a 2 month period constitutes "regular income" - violating HUD regulations, and tax code.
HUD and Inspector General had refused to conduct investigation as required. FORCE ACTION!
