Conduct a thorough investigation into and limit the power of Zero Tolerance Policies which wrongly accuse students.

Since the Columbine Massacre of 1999, many schools and educational facilities have put measures into place to prevent school violence. The Zero Tolerance Policy is a measure that has failed, and has wronged countless students nationwide. Suspensions and criminal charges are common in instances where a pocket knife was accidentally brought on school grounds. The penalties and punishments for minor infractions, most often accidental, are ridiculous. This is a growing epidemic in the United States, while school violence is on the decline. The fact is the policy doesn't work, and it is more harmful then beneficial.
