The Confederate Battle Flag is a symbol of the failed rebellion of wealthy slave owners against the Republic. The former members of the Confederacy have been afforded many years of compromise and consideration yet some still fly the flag of this failed rebellion on state property. This is unacceptable. They should be forced to take it down.
