Confront institutionalized racism & causes of poverty that disproportionately deny minorities housing opportunities.

Created by K.M. on March 06, 2013

Structural racism has denied minorities opportunities to acquire housing and build equity since our nation's start. These disadvantages have been magnified and multiplied over generations, and minorities now find themselves disproportionately represented in poverty. Home ownership, or lack thereof, is now one of the greatest disparities between minorities and white wealth in our country.

We want The Obama Administration to address past policies that have discriminated against minorities, and re-structure existent policies so that minorities have equal opportunities to acquire housing. It is time to give minorities back what America's racist policies have taken from them in the past, and offer affirmative action that will give them equal opportunity in the present.
