Perpetrators of mass killings are after the certain fame and reaction they get from the media to bring some semblance of meaning to their lives. These people are ill, and looking for a way out and have come to learn that they will become instantly famous if they perpetrate a heinous act. Remove the promise of fame, and you remove this avenue from their thoughts. Real leadership on this issue has nothing to do with guns, or how many bullets they hold, it's about time the administration showed some real leadership and worked with the media to ban mention of the names of those who carry out such horrific acts. These people do NOT deserve to be household names or garner any attention from the public. We should instead be hearing about the heroes who have stopped such tragedies from occurring.
