Congress Accountability Amendment to the Constitution

If you *really* want Progress out of Congress (insert pro is the opposite of con joke here):
1. Cut Congress' pay to match the average household income so that the health of the economy directly impacts them.
2. Make all gifts to any Congressional member absolutely illegal.
3. Build barracks/apartments and a cafeteria so Congressional members don't need extra pay to maintain a second residence.
4. Make known and easily accessible each Congressional member's vote on each bill with a plain-English explanation of both the bill and a 150 word explanation of the members vote.
5. Index Congressional members by zip codes so that everyone knows who their Rep/Senator is.
6. Single topic bills.
7. Zero add-ons to legislation.
8. Term limits. (6 for Reps 3 for Senators, *total* years in Congress 18)
