Under this petition I would request that Congress and the President drop to real salaries like our military and the real middle class people of the United States. This would mean Jr congress persons start at ab out $22k per year and top pay of $55k per year.. The President starting salary would be $55k per year and no more than $85k per year. Also they would have to have the same medical insurances as the average citizen. We would also dissolve any special pension allowed to congress and presidents. Also we would limit congress to no more than 8 years total. then next option would be President. Congress would work on the same rules as the President and not allowed to earn any monies outside of their salaries no book deals no outside business. And close out all lobbyist
