Congress and Senate get paid a teacher salary with no health care benefits for life.

This Petition is set aside to let Congress and Senate get paid less. If the people are willing to sacrifice with paying more taxes then politicians such as members of both houses need to sacrifice also. A government's job is not to get rich but to guide the American people with responsibility to balance the budget every year. Government is a business and should not worry about other countries. We need to help ourselves first before we help the rest of the world. We need to balance this budget then we can worry about same sex marriage, women's pay, taxes, school's etc. It is are responsibility as Americans to get things back on track and work again. I hope we can pass a bill to get their pay checks down and put that money to good use. That money can be apart to balance this budget.
