As our elected federal legislators keep receiving higher pay and perks, the American People are told by them with their decisions that we live with less. The American PEOPLE want Congress and the Senate to reduce their yearly wages to $65,000 a year, any raises will be based on COLA as is required for Social Security recipients which they mandated. Congress and Senators will no longer be allowed to collect the perks of retirement unless they have served at least three consecutive terms, no less. Congress and the Senate hold a standard for the working poor, for women who do equal or more work than men yet get paid less, for social security recipients that pay for medicare but get less and less and pay more for their medical. Legislators must DO THE SAMe as they require of the PEOPLE!
