Congress and Senate Pay and Benefits should be determined by the public voters.

Fair pay to all--the Senate and Congress have no incentive to work together to solve our economic problems as their pay and benefits are already "Locked in" by themselves. The Public NEEDS to know by having published information available with specifics) and VOTE on their Salaries and Benefits--especially insurance and retirement specifics. In times of economic distress, the salaries of our government should be limited to how high they are paid. THE SENATE AND CONGRESS MUST HAVE PENALTIES THAT WILL FORCE THEM TO RESOLVE IMPORTANT ISSUES, or they should have to remain until the IMPORTANT ECONOMIC PROBLEMS are resolved, and their pay should be reduced by XX amount per day they are late. Voters all live with "late charges" why not Congress and the Senate that work on issues concerning all.
