Congress can't pass pay increases for themselves and must answer to their constituents.

Introduce legislation that reduces the pay for members of Congress to the minimum wage paid in the district that they serve. No pay increase can be voted on by congress. Their pay must be voted on by the constituents that they serve. While they are in office, they should be provided public housing and bus service to and from their offices. Should they want their spouses and families with them, they can pay for their own housing, but no, "donations" of housing for them would be allowed.
