Donald Trump was the first major party presidential nominee not to release his tax returns in decade. He claimed he had been advised by counsel not to do so until the IRS had completed its audit. But he indicated that he would release his returns if elected.
Given the complexity of his personal holding, his potential conflicts of interest here and abroad and the ongoing speculation regarding his possible ties to Russia, which our intelligence community deemed to have interfered in the election, Americans must have transparency before the Electoral College votes!
