Congress, Donald Trump has said he will scrap NASA's Earth Sciences divisions. He claims the science associated with climate change research has become politicized. He has denied the facts of climate change and claims it is a ruse. To quote Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA’s associate administrator for science, "Earth science helps save lives. It also helps grow companies and creates an awareness of environmental challenges that affect our lives today and tomorrow.” NASA's variety of research in Earth Science also creates innovation and knowledge that is shared and used world-wide. Please do not allow this promised defunding to occur.
