Congress has refused to perform its duty for years. Their pay should reflect this by being reduced to the minimum wage.

This congress has failed America and shames us all. They should gladly accept a pay cut for several reasons. First they have neglected millions of Americans living in poverty and refused to help by raising the federal minimum wage. It's easy to turn a blind eye when you make the better part of a fifth of a million dollars a year. We clearly need to give them an impetus to raise this wage to a level that is not criminally negligent. Second they cannot work together they do not deserve the wage of a skilled surgeon to bicker all day and spew useless ideology while the country suffers waiting for effective leadership. Congress deserves a warning to gets its act together. Sign this petition and lets make it clear that we expect more of our governing bodies.
