On June 25 ,2013 Tricare made revisions for military families and providers regarding ABA therapy . We are asking that these revisions be immediately revoked . We are asking that the decisions as to whom receives ABA therapy be left in the hands of Drs. We are also asking that the Drs make the decisions on testing as well as when to stop ABA treatment . The current changes state that all ABA providers must have a masters degree or Doctorate . We are asking that also be changed to a Bachelor Degree in ABA. This is not an exhausted list of changes that need to be made . However if the current plan goes into effect most children will be left with out needed therapy and qualified, eligible providers . As well as undo strenuous testing every six months .
