It is wrong for the leaders of this country to vote themselves a pay raise, while the national debt is skyrocketing to an unbelievable level. The president and congress are the ones that have let this happen, so i for one think they should be penalized, not rewarded for their actions. I think they should not recieve pay, or any type of benefits until the national debt is reduced to under 9 million dollars, the level it was at when obama took office. If they dont like it then can quit and let someone that is not in it for the money or a career try their hand at it. Lets send a message to the goverment and let them know that america will no longer stand for this behavior, god bless america.
