Proposed 28th amendment to the Constitution: Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.
Members of Congress, the President, and other federal employees are exempt from many laws under which civilians must live. For example, children of members of congress are not required to pay back student loans, members of congress are able to retire after only 1 term served, are free from fear of being charged with sexual harrassmenand now are exempt from all aspects of the new health care reform. America should not have elite's that live above the law.
