I am calling on our Congress to draft and pass a bill providing federal funds to establish a permit program to give public school faculty the ability to carry tasers on school grounds.
The bill should include;
1) Money for research to establish the most effective type of taser gun and holster for this particular purpose.
a) Taser must be capable of propelling the "Shock" no less than 25 feet.
2) A committee should be established write a standardized policy governing under what emergency situations the taser can be used.
4) Only licenced faculty can carry tasers on school grounds and must have a permit to do so.
5) Establish a procedure by which faculty can apply for the proper permit to carry the taser while on school grounds.
a) Which should include safegaurds such as a background check.
