Congress should have the same healthcare and retirement benefits as most Americans. The "free ride" must come to an end.

End "entitlements" to members of the House and Senate. They should have to live with the same healthcare, retirement AND pay as the majority of Americans have to live with every day. The "free ride" for our elected representatives should END. Make them pay for their healthcare and retirement and make them have the same eligibility for retirement as the rest of us. If we are supposed to sit back and take cuts to our "earned benefits," then they should have to as well. They should NOT be able to make harmful changes to our lifeline to survival without them having to suffer those same consequences. Also, if they don't show up for work, they should not get paid. We should not be paying our elected officials to be out campaigning and not doing their work in Washington.
