Every time there is a mass murder in the world, the killer's name and picture are plastered all over newspapers and television news coverage. The day after the Orlando tragedy NBC evening news showed the murderer's face for long periods but only briefly displayed faces of the victims. This encourages other crazed people with dark fantasies to do something horrific so that they too can get their post mortem fame. The President and Congress should create proclamations requesting the media to voluntarily reduce the showing and naming of mass murderers.
