Congressional Reform Act of 2012

Apply to Congress, for The People:
0. deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all members are ineligible for re-election.
1. No Tenure / No Pension. Salary only paid while in office.
2. (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
3. purchase their own retirement (401K etc.) plan
4.pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective immediately. The people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.
8. Acceptance of lobbyist monies is an act of treason.
