Congressional Reform Act of 2013

1. No Tenure/Pension. 
Congress collects a salary only while in office. 2.

 Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. 

All Congressional retirement funds move to the Social Security system. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan & no addt’l govt. plan will be made available.

 4. Congress cannot vote themselves a pay raise. Pay rises by the lower of CPI or 3%.

 5. Congress participates in the same health care systems/laws as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by/be subject to all of the same laws they impose on the people.

 7. All contracts past/present with Congress are void, effective 30 days post enactment or 12/1/13 whichever is first. 8. Members of the House and Senate shall be limited to 4 terms & 2 terms, respectively.
