Congressional Reform that embraces our forefathers vision of a government of the people, by the people, for the people

Created by M.P. on November 13, 2012

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office only.
2. Congress may serve a maximum of 2 terms. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
3. Congress participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement move to the Social Security system.
4. Congress cannot vote themselves a pay raise. Set at $125,000 per year and remain there until the American people decide to increase it.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective immediately. The American people did not make these contracts, Congressmen did.
