Congressional reforms: Update the outdated procedures and enter the digital age.

The Senate and House of Representatives has been operating using essentially the same system that has been in use since the creation of our great nation. Members of congress struggle to find time for family, essential meetings, and the various responsibilities of congress. Time must always be split between Washington and their homes and so they begin to lose touch with their home districts and vote on party lines rather than to truly to the benefit of their home districts. Living in Washington was an act of necessity in a time when meeting in person was necessary and travel was slow. But now, in the digital age we have the ability to meet and do many things online through conferencing software. This would be no small feat, but we must start to integrate and innovate digital means.
