Congressional Salaries Shall Be No More Than the Salary Received by an Average Elementary Public School Teacher

Be it proposed:

No Congressperson shall be paid more than an average Elementary Public School Teacher. Nor shall they receive benefits of any kinf or a pension greater than those received by an average Elementary Public School Teacher.

Additionally, no active Congressperson shall receive outside income or honorariums or gifts. Nor shall any former Congressperson receive a pension if said Congressperson's yearly income exceeds $99,999.99.

This shall be permanent, immutable and for all time.
