Our forefathers never meant to have our Congressional leaders hold full-time seats. Originally, they held jobs in their specific districts, and then on a given time, they would meet to hold Congress. This has been hijacked over time. When we have people sitting in seats of power, collecting hard earned money from citizens, they feel entitled. They sit together and create laws on a daily basis. We haver too many laws and all they do is create more laws. Congress wants to sequester our military, cut veterans benefits, cut other needed economic aid to our citizens. It is time that "We the People" said, "Enough is Enough!" I call on everyone to support a petition to require every Congressional member, be paid at the current federal minimum wage. They waste our money, so lets cut theirs.
