Congressional salary vs work disparity

Created by D.K. on December 04, 2012

The new 113th House of Representatives has just published their new work schedule, which consists of less than 130 days for the calendar year.

I propose, salaries are to reflect the total days worked in congress, just like for the working public. If you do not work full time, you do not receive a full time salary, insurance, healthcare, et al. If the House choses to work less than half a calendar year, their salary should be adjusted to reflect that of a part time worker.

No government handouts for Congress!
