As elected officials members of Congress are held to a standard to uphold the constitution of the United States of America. By refusing to stand and recite the pledge, members of Congress are disrespecting the people that have died for this country. Sanctions should include but not limited to. Forfeiture of one days pay per day, or removal from their seat via recall election...
