We have become complacent with our congress men and women making careers out of their "public service" while not fighting for the people who voted them into office. 8 year term limits are more than generous and even more necessary to make sure that the congress men and women keep in touch with our world and don't make a career of sitting on their hands. If a president can't be in office more than 8 years, why should our congress people.
