Proposed Amendment
The House of Representatives is limited to no more than 2 full terms, 4 years. This includes all current serving Representatives. The Senate is limited to no more than 2 terms, 12 years. The length of time difference is only because of the length of service a Senate term lasts. This includes all current serving Senators. The Speaker of the House is not chosen by a majority party but by a 3/4 vote of all members of the House of Representatives. The power positions of Majority/Minority Leader, Whips, and any other party leadership is not a position within Congress. All of Congress is limited to no more than $100,000 a year salary with a lifetime pension of $50,000 a year. All income and pensions are taxed. Congress has no entitlement benefits other than pension.
