Congressional Term Limits and Changes of Conressional Salaries

Created by D.S. on January 16, 2013

Petition puts term limits/salary changes for Congress on 2014 ballot. U.S. Citizens vote on max 3-2yr terms limits & pay limits for Congress ending D.C. gridlock, electing new officials when terms are up. If passed, Congress will have 3-2yr term limits, 75K salary, 5K annual increases & can’t self-vote raises. Congressmen may return to office after being off 2yrs from any Congressional position when term is up. If returning to Congress, salary resets to 75K & seniority resets. Current Congressmen in office reaching 3-2yr terms can be reelected in 2014, w/75K salary effective 01/2015 for ALL Congressmen. If reelected in 2014 Congressmen must leave office at end of term. If passed by voters, this can’t be overturned by the White House/any member of Congress as this is the will of the people.
