This Petition will call for an AMENDMENT which will Limit the Terms of Office for Members of the United States House of Representatives AND the United States Senate.
Members of the House of Representatives will be LIMITED TO SERVING NO MORE THAN 4 CONSECUTIVE TERMS TO THE OFFICE IN WHICH THEY WERE ELECTED TO SERVE.
Members of the United States Senate will be LIMITED TO SERVING NO MORE THAN 2 CONSECUTIVE TERMS TO THE OFFICE IN WHICH THEY WERE ELECTED TO SERVE AND NO MORE THAN 8 YEARS IF APPOINTED TO FILL A VACANT SEAT.
