Congressmen/women elected based on religious views.

Created by A.G. on February 13, 2013

I believe when a senator or house representative is running for office they're religious views should not be considered. As an agnostic, I do not have a set religion, and I know many atheists that feel the same.
I feel it is a blatant slap in the face to Separation of Church and State when an individual running for office puts their religion in their campaign.
I want to hear the issues they want to deal with, not that they believe that Jesus will help them, or what have you. If I wanted someone else's religion to run my life I would move to an Islam country. But I live here, in America, a place where you can have any religion and not be persecuted, but that doesn't mean I want senators who are elected by people based on religious views.
I believe in Separation of Church and State.
