Congressperson are paid in the six digit range with fully provided pension and healthcare for life!!! and have million dollar budgets for staff. This is not how most americans live and we are tired of it.
House of representatives pay shall be set by the greatest tier wage and benefits group in 50 dollar intervals in the united states excluding salaried or commissioned professionals and government workers. the senate getting a 20% premium above that stated wage with no allocation for overtime.
Staff budget for each congressperson shall be set by the people in the local district and never be greater than 150,00.
