Congress/Senate Can Only Pass One Issue In A Bill At A Time

Created by A.Z. on April 04, 2013

Dear Mr. President,

With the recent Monsanto Protection Act it's clear that we need to address a serious problem that has been a part of our government for years. The problem of provisions of bills being slipped into the bills without people's notice or even things not related to the core issue of a proposed bill in the first place. It's about time we passed regulations and laws for our legislative body that they can not pass any bill that's dealing with more than one issue at a time and each component of the issue should be voted on individually. We need to cut the bloat of proposed bills so our congressman and senators actually read them all as they come up for a vote.

End this abuse where laws are passed with provisions that are ultimately bad for the people!
