Connecting Interstate 270 to the PA Turnpike at Breezewood via an entrance and exit ramp will reduce travel time. It will cut back on the pollution caused by long traffic backups. It will reduce fuel wastage for those stuck in traffic especially during holiday travel. Drivers should not be forced through the bottleneck of Breezewood. Those who need to stop for fuel or food can do so by choice and because of the reduced traffic, their wait times to make purchases will be shortened.
