Doctors Without Borders has repeatedly and reasonably stated that internal investigations of the recent hospital bombing in Afghanistan would not be adequate, as such investigations are conducted by parties with vested interests in avoiding guilt.
The USA has violated the Geneva Convention repeatedly--from the Vietnam era, through the Bush era of "enhanced interrogation," to this tragic bombing of a healthcare facility.
Yet, the U.S. continues to allow its economy to be run by the military-industrial complex; allows Congress to be heavily influenced by this complex through campaign financing; and the U.S. uses nearly half of our tax dollars on military spending--a fact which we the undersigned find immoral.
Say yes to IHFFC, and set a new standard for military accountability.
