In the first amendment of our nation's constitution, we are guaranteed the rights to various freedoms. Among these freedoms is the right to practice any religion one pleases. Making generalizations about one's faith based upon a few examples of extremism is not only unethical, it is un-American. For example, accusing all Muslims of being radical and barring them from a better life in the United States because of a radical few would be like prisoning all white people because of the Nazis. Donald Trump's comments about not accepting any person who identifies as Muslim from entering the country is offensive to the Muslim faith and embarrassing to the American people. Any person who commits such an act deserves to be properly punished in the same way one would be punished for hate speech.
