A change back to the way Canadians and Americans used to cross their border before 9-11 is needed.The tightening of the northern border is wrong for several reasons: trade, values, history, family ties and long term friendly relations should make it easy and quick to cross. There is the technology to allow this freedom and openness to take place. We should take the example of the open borders between the European countries.
