March's KONY 2012 video succeeded in making tens, if not hundreds of millions of people around the world aware of the terrible crimes committed by Joseph Kony and his LRA. It also got the attention of Congress, spawning the creation of a number of resolutions like www.housebill1.info and www.senatebill1.info.
Bills like these that merely resolve to take actions won't do much to help rid the world of such menaces, however, because the ICC is powerless to act on its own. (www.ICC-P.info)
Fortunately, at least one member of Congress has submitted a more potent bill targeting those "indicted by international, hybrid, or mixed tribunals for genocide, war crimes, or crimes against humanity."
