The Westboro Baptists Church may be a religious group and as such protected by the foundation of our great country, but when such a group uses this as a means to shield themselves while they spread hate and intolerance. As a religious man I find the things they do extremely offensive not only to myself, but to my lord as well.
Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Protest are two of the things that has made our country so great, but when individuals and groups like this appear to take advantage of that and do blatantly illegal activities such as disrupting the peace, blocking public access and obstructing public proceedings nothing is done about it.
America is the land of the free and I would not have it changed, but it is time something is done about people like this.
