If we are worried about job creation and our economy, why we trying to destroy American industry?
Have you looked at how many US jobs are rooted in the firearms industry?
Drawing brass, casting lead, metallurgy, foundry, machining, design engineering, tool and die makers, powder and primer production, barrel makers, metal forgings, optics, mounts, slings, holsters, magazines... the list goes on and on. While some companies outsource much like the auto industry and others, much of this is done in the United States.
The proposed ban encompasses nearly every popular firearm that utilizes some sort of aftermarket accessory or peripheral and the ammunition calibers that accompany them. Nearly every firearm except bolt actions and pump shotguns. You are killing American jobs.
