This is a petition to consider Eid al Fitr and Eid Edha as a federal holiday to all the muslims across the country. Several school districts with significant Muslim populations already observe one or both of the Eid holidays as official days off, including Paterson and Trenton in New Jersey; Dearborn, Mich.; Burlington Vt.; and Cambridge, Mass. It should be considered a federal holiday to not only those school districts, but to all.
